Things are progressing very nicely in regards to the new shop.
This is what has been happening.
The spot that Tim and I were hoping to get still is not available. In the meantime, we were approached by McHarris Gifts.........a reputable and long standing business...........about the possibility of having a multi-artist gallery in their storefront on College Street, which they were closing after 26 years. At first Tim and I weren't sure since we really wanted a place of our own. But after really thinking about it and meeting with the McHarris's........who we rented from before and loved it...........we decided that this was a really great idea and would be a much cheaper way to go and still have a place to showcase our creations. We've had several other artisan's that we know personally express their desire to be a part of this. We've had a few meetings just to see how many might get on board with this and we've had a wonderful response.
So stay tuned!
I will be creating a new blog just for this new shop as soon as I have the official name and go ahead.
I will have a list of every artisan who will be a part of it along with a link to their website if available.
Again, I really appreciate everyone's interest in this and I know that this will be a wonderful addition to your shopping experience in Clinton. There are going to be some truly talented artisan's there.
