~New Shop~

As you may have heard, there will be a new shop in Clinton.

~Introducing~

Artisans' Corner

1 College Street
Clinton, NY 13323

It will be opening sometime in mid November but when I know the exact date, I will post it here.

~New Shop In Clinton~

Things are progressing very nicely in regards to the new shop. 

This is what has been happening.

The spot that Tim and I were hoping to get still is not available. In the meantime, we were approached by McHarris Gifts.........a reputable and long standing business...........about the possibility of having a multi-artist gallery in their storefront on College Street, which they were closing after 26 years. At first Tim and I weren't sure since we really wanted a place of our own. But after really thinking about it and meeting with the McHarris's........who we rented from before and loved it...........we decided that this was a really great idea and would be a much cheaper way to go and still have a place to showcase our creations. We've had several other artisan's that we know personally express their desire to be a part of this. We've had a few meetings just to see how many might get on board with this and we've had a wonderful response. 

So stay tuned!

I will be creating a new blog just for this new shop as soon as I have the official name and go ahead.

I will have a list of every artisan who will be a part of it along with a link to their website if available.

Again, I really appreciate everyone's interest in this and I know that this will be a wonderful addition to your shopping experience in Clinton. There are going to be some truly talented artisan's there.

~Update~

I hope to have some very exciting news to share with all of you very soon. 

I can't say a whole lot about it quite yet, but if it happens........and there's every indication that it will........it will be a wonderful addition to the town of Clinton.

It is in the works, so keep checking back often. We are having another meeting this coming Weds night, so I will be updating as soon as I know anything definite.

~Thank You~

I wanted to take this time to thank each and every one of you for your sincere interest in my future shop.

 It really means a lot to me. We are very excited about our upcoming shop and it's potential. We have several really great idea's for different gift items for the shop............which will definitely include my jewelry, mom's stone's and fossils and Tim's artwork. Everything in the shop will be handcrafted items.

We are probably looking at late fall.......maybe even January........

for the shop's grand re-opening, so keep checking back here often for updates. As soon as I know, you will know. It may happen sooner for us. It's all waiting on the man who's retiring to wrap up his business and vacate.

Here's hoping it's sooner versus later...............we'll see.

~Shop Closing - Temporarily~

Yes.....sad to say, but the place that Tim and I have been renting will no longer be ours. We knew going into this that our location was temporary and we are so grateful for the opportunity we've had to experience what it's like running a shop. We have absolutely enjoyed it!!
So as of June 14th, our shop on Williams Street will be closed.

And soooooooooooo..............we've decided that we are going to pursue having a permanent place to call our own. We have been considering a couple of different places and have settled on a really nice spot. We have met with the landlords and they would like us as tenants, but we have to wait for the current tenant.........who's in the process of  going out of business........to get his own affairs settled. So we may be looking at a few months from now. As anxious as we are to have a place to really call our own, this gives us time to re-group. We both are extremely busy this time of year with our craft shows and such, so this little hiatus might be good for both of us. Our goal is to have an awesome shop in the town that we both love. It's something that we've both wanted for a very long time, so it's worth the wait.

So don't think of us as disappearing...........we are just on an extended vacation. ;)

Once we know anything for sure, I will post it here.

In the meantime, you can find me at my craft shows........see my show schedule..........and you can find Tim at the Clinton Farmers Market on Thursdays starting in June. You can also feel free to email me with any questions regarding my designs.

These are our hours for January. As we start getting closer to spring and the days get longer, we will extend our hours and add a day or two. We can also be open by appointment.

I thought that the store needed a blog of it's own. Here I can post updates of what our hours and days will be, and any special events we...........or the town of Clinton.............may be having during the year. As of now, we will be staying at #6 Williams street, but if that changes, I will let you know here.
